The Story: From One Client to a Platform

The Planner Studio began in 2023 when founders Ricki Friis Sørensen and Nicklas Andersen decided to go deep into 3D Configurators. Their company had built a 3D configurator solution for Muuto, the renowned Danish furniture brand. The project revealed something significant: furniture brands everywhere were struggling with the same challenge — how to let customers truly experience and customize products online. Rather than building one-off solutions for individual brands, they created a platform that could serve the entire furniture industry. Today, The Planner Studio serves furniture brands of all sizes across the globe, from our base in Copenhagen.
